Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information VovaBlocks handles when you visit this website, contact us, or purchase VovaBlocks Pro.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. Who we are

VovaBlocks is a WordPress plugin project operated by Vova Anokhin (“VovaBlocks”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy applies to the website at vovablocks.pro and our related support communications.

For privacy questions or requests, email us at support@vovablocks.pro.

2. Scope

This policy covers information we control in connection with this website and VovaBlocks. Third-party websites and services, including WordPress.org, Google, and Freemius, have their own privacy policies. Their policies apply when you use their services.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide

If you contact us, we receive your email address, name if you provide it, the contents of your message, and any information or files you choose to include.

Purchase and license information

Freemius handles VovaBlocks Pro checkout, payments, subscriptions, tax, and license delivery. We may receive the contact, transaction, subscription, and license details needed to provide the product, manage licenses, issue refunds, and support customers. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Website and device information

Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical logs such as requested URLs, timestamps, IP address, browser details, and error data to deliver and protect the website. If you consent to analytics where consent is required, Google Analytics also collects the information described below.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, license, maintain, and support VovaBlocks;
  • process purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds;
  • respond to questions, feedback, and support requests;
  • protect the website, customers, and our services from abuse;
  • understand aggregate website usage and improve content and performance; and
  • comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

Depending on the context and applicable law, our legal bases are performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing VovaBlocks, your consent for non-essential analytics, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the website. Subject to your consent choices, Google Analytics may collect page URLs and titles, referrer information, session timing, browser and device details, approximate location, and a pseudonymous client identifier. We do not intentionally send your name, email address, support messages, or payment details to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish visitors and preserve session state. Their default lifetime is up to two years, although browser restrictions or your settings may shorten it. Google Analytics 4 uses an IP address at collection time to derive approximate location and then discards it before the address is logged.

Google explains how it processes information from sites using its services in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can also read Google’s Google Analytics privacy and data safeguards.

Where applicable law requires consent, analytics cookies are non-essential and should not be enabled unless you accept them. You can refuse them in a consent prompt, block or delete cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We do not use Google Analytics data for personalized advertising.

6. Freemius checkout

VovaBlocks Pro is sold through Freemius, Inc. Freemius acts as the checkout, payment, subscription, tax, fulfillment, and licensing provider. When Freemius Checkout opens, it uses cookies that are necessary for order completion, security, and fraud prevention.

Please review the Freemius Privacy Policy and Freemius Checkout Cookie Policy before purchasing.

7. How we share information

We may disclose information to:

  • Google, to provide consented website analytics;
  • Freemius, to provide checkout, payment, subscription, tax, fulfillment, and licensing services;
  • hosting, security, communication, and technical providers that process information for us under appropriate obligations;
  • professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety; and
  • a successor in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of the project, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information.

8. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here. Google Analytics user-level and event-level data is configured to be retained for no longer than 14 months; standard aggregated reports may remain available longer. Support correspondence is generally kept for up to 24 months after the last interaction. Transaction, subscription, license, tax, and dispute records may be kept for the applicable contract period and any longer period required by law or needed to establish or defend legal claims.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, transfers are made using recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections. Contact us if you want more information about safeguards relevant to your data.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; and withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Send requests to support@vovablocks.pro. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when the law permits or requires it. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children’s privacy

The website and VovaBlocks are intended for people building or managing websites and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when required.

Questions or requests can be sent to Vova Anokhin at support@vovablocks.pro.
